Absolutely great business to deal with.

We was looking at selling our I20n privately as part ex prices were low at dealer that had a car we were interested in. Then we saw how highly rated Blackmore was in the owners groups for both sales and purchasing cars.

Dropped a message and after a simple form, some photos and a couple of messages to confirm some details they offered us a price that was more reflective of the value than the part exs and took away the need to deal with selling privately which can have its own challenges.

Very accomadating with getting the could collect with no issues but as our new car was not far from them we was happy to drop off and that was no problem. The plan was to get a uber or train onwards but they went above and beyond saving us a journey by getting us to our next destination as was close by and they knew the area which was not expected but definitely appreciated.

Communication was excellent throughout, would definitely deal with again if buying or selling knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about cars.

I sold my Hyundai to Alvin at Blackmore Automotive 17th April 2024 after he responded to my Autotrader advertisement.We agreed a fair price over the telephone 48 hours earlier when a deposit was paid to secure the deal. I picked him up from the train station on the car collection day. At home he inspected the car and paperwork and then transferred the monies owing by bank transfer. There was no haggling, the agreed price was paid and the whole process took about 30 minutes. I can confirm it was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend selling to Blackmore Automotive.

I highly recommend Blackmore Automotive as i recently purchased my i20n in dragon Red with added options from them and seriously wouldn't look anywhere else if you're after a hot hatch with great customer service. Myself and my wife visited Blackmore Automotive to have a look at a Focus RS. We called them earlier in the day and Alvin very fairly informed me that there was another customer already booked in to view the car, but assured me he would call later if the car was still available.

Sure enough, true to his word, Alvin called to say the other appointment had to cancel and we were next on the list to view. We had been to look at a different RS at a Ford main dealer in the mean time and walked away as it was in awful condition. Alvin confidently said we would not be disappointed in the one he had for sale and to head over to have a look for ourselves.

We made the 80 mile journey and upon arrival we were greeted by a car that had been prepared and detailed to absolute perfection. The car was exactly as described and everything we could possibly have hoped for.

Alvin then done all that he could to get the deal done and sorted the same day. We were driving away a few hours later in our dream car.

There is a reason these guys are rated 5 stars everywhere. Alvin is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Big shout-out to the detailer (who we didn't get to meet) because the way the car was presented was unbelievable. I can't stress enough how good it was.

I viewed my I30n after booking an appointment with Matt, the same day I saw it I put the deposit down & since the first call the experience has been effortless, I couldn’t collect the car for 3 weeks but everyone was super patient & the wait was worth it!! I bought my new i20N in Performance Blue and the whole experience was absolutely top notch from start to finish.
Alvin was a pleasure to deal with and he even picked me and my wife up from my home near Middlesbrough on his way back from Scotland after he collected a car. It wasn't his route and he went out of his way to collect us and saved us driving down in my wife's car.
Alvin is a lovely guy, very friendly to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. Once we got to the dealership in Nuneaton the car was already to take away with only a few things to sign. The car was immaculate just like he told me and it had a ceramic coating applied the day before collection. I bought i30 N perf from them 6 months ago and had an accident in august non fault and unfortunately the car was write off. Amazing dealer! Sold me an I30n, when i first went into to look at it they made me aware of a problem and were 100% open and honest with it already being booked in to fix, first look i straight away put a deposit down and fell in love with the car. Although there were some delays with a back order part, this however was not on their end so can not fault them, they kept me updated throughout the whole process and had a very quick turn around when the car was back in their hands. I went to Blackmore to view an i30n and Alvin Didn't push at all to sell me the car, he left me to it to look around the car and answered any questions I had. There were other i30n in stock which I had a look around and one caught my eye due to the extra packs Alvin gave me quotes, again he didn't give off the pushy salesmen vibe which you get at main dealers. I had to still sort out the sale of my current car and Alvin was very understanding, we kept in close contact to ensure the car didn't sell and once I had everything sorted I put a deposit down. Everything was smooth, all paperwork was processed very quickly and I had the car within 2 days. Handover was also a breeze. I'll defo give Blackmore my business again in the future.

Matt and Alvin have been really good. Both helpful and nice people to talk to. I had some issues with my car on my way home after collecting, resulting in some repairs needing to be done. They covered the repair to the alternator and the car was fixed and ready the next day. They also sent a £50 voucher to make up for myself and my partners wasted evening waiting to get the car recovered. Unfortunately on a trip to Scotland a few days after, the battery then packed in. Alvin covered the cost of the new battery immediately.

I had bought a Focus ST from them and the driveshafts are known to be a problem. They became a problem in Scotland. I got them replaced and the warranty company they use were very swift in sorting reimbursement for half, thanks to a good word from Alvin. On top of this the guys paid for half of the remaining bill.

Not a bad word to say. Cars go wrong and they did all they could to fix the problems.

Found a car from Blackmore through a finance broker, called the dealer myself to ask some questions about the car. Alvin was extremely helpful and answered all questions promptly. Booked some train tickets the next day to see the car and get the deal done. When arrived Alvin suggested me to check with their finance to see if a better deal would come up, surprisingly they guaranteed the best APR and drive away after an hour of signing everything off.

Brilliant Experience buying a used car.

This segment of the market is normally a really painful experience.

However, I couldn't say more for Alvin at Blackmore - the Car was in showroom condition and looked great. We were given an honest overview of the work on the car and what had been done and by whom. And working with Alvin, we were able to drive the car away on the day, helping us set up temporary insurance and easily taking payment via bank transfer. Finally Alvin ensured us, we could and should get in contact if there are any issues with the Car and Blackmore would help and support with any issue.
